PANDEF flays Lagos-Calabar highway diversion

PANDEF has rejected the federal government's decision to divert the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway from its original coastal route to the existing East-West Road through Ondo and Edo states. The group demands a return to the original alignment to ensure coastal oil-bearing communities in the Niger Delta benefit from the infrastructure intended to address their decades of environmental pollution, gas flaring, and underdevelopment.
