Diri blasts Donald Duke, rejects Umahi’s position on Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway
Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State rejected any realignment of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway with the East-West Road, insisting both projects must proceed separately. He also strongly criticised former Cross River governor Donald Duke for calling the coastal road unfeasible and using Bayelsa as a negative example, labelling him a jester and pretender.
