Yobe activates ebola emergency centres and border checks

Yobe state has activated its Public Health Emergency Incident Management System and an Emergency Preparedness and Response plan even though it has recorded no Ebola cases. Officials are building six technical pillars for response, strengthening border surveillance at entry points, and running public awareness campaigns on prevention.
