Residents of Aramoko Ekiti have asked the Ooni of Ife to plead with Governor Abiodun Oyebanji so kingmakers can finish selecting a new Alara. The process started in April 2026 but stopped after a tied vote among the 12 kingmakers and has been suspended for six months.
