Senate Rejects NMDPRA’s 2022, 2023 PMS Import Records Over Disparities With NNPC
The Nigerian Senate rejected the 2022 and 2023 PMS import records submitted by NMDPRA because they differed sharply from NNPC figures. The Senate Committee on Public Accounts called the over 50% disparities suspicious, unacceptable and possibly fraudulent, and resolved to summon the heads of NMDPRA, NNPC and NEITI for a tripartite meeting to reconcile the records.
