Seyi Tinubu's RTIFN plans Benin rally and medical outreach in Edo

Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), a pro-Tinubu group founded by Seyi Tinubu, says it will hold a town hall meeting and a large rally in Benin City, Edo State, for President Tinubu's re-election. Before the rally it plans empowerment programmes for thousands of residents, medical outreaches and a road walk, Vanguard and Leadership reported.

The plans were announced by RTIFN's South-South Zonal Coordinator, Osaretin Okunrobo. The reports did not give a date for the rally.

APC leaders expected at the event include Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Senators Neda Imasuen and Joe Ikpea, Minister of Regional Development Abubakar Momoh and Hon. Bala Ahmed.

Okunrobo said the aim was to take the message of the President's reforms to the grassroots. He argued that the economy was improving, pointing to foreign reserves, the naira and investor confidence, and asked Nigerians to be patient with the reforms. These are the group's own views.

At the State House on 19 October, RTIFN's Director-General, Ahmed Bala, told the President the group would deliver 10 million votes for his re-election, according to the State House. The City Boy Movement, which Seyi also leads as patron, has made a similar 10 million pledge.
