Police arrest 26-year-old over alleged rape, armed robbery
Police in Cross River State arrested 26-year-old Emmanuel Adoga after a petition from the father of a 22-year-old woman alleged that Adoga threatened her with a dangerous object, raped her, stole her Infinix Smart 7 phone, and demanded an extra N15,000. The police recovered the phone, visited the scene for photographic and electronic evidence, had the survivor medically examined and treated, and are continuing investigations including into the use of a hammer presented as a firearm.
