Otu budgets N987.8bn for 2027, capital projects get 72%
Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State presented a N987.8 billion budget for 2027 to the state House of Assembly, named the Budget of Consolidation and Renewed Hope. Capital expenditure makes up 72% of the total while recurrent is 28.28%, representing a 2.57% increase over the 2026 budget which was revised to N963.07 billion.
