Enugu retirees to receive N32bn in outstanding gratuities
The Enugu State Government approved payment of about N32 billion in outstanding legacy gratuities inherited from previous administrations to retirees. The first tranche of N10 billion will be released soon, based on a verification exercise of records dating back to 2000 that reviewed 66,783 persons to prevent fraud, with further tranches to follow until the full amount is cleared.
