Benue University suspends fee hike after students’ protest
The Vice-Chancellor of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JOSTUM), Isaac Itodo, suspended a proposed increase in undergraduate fees for the 2026/2027 academic session after students complained. He announced that undergraduate school fees will remain unchanged following consultation with students and regulatory bodies.
