Akwa Ibom pensioners to get 13th-month bonus and N10,000

Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno has approved a 13th-month pension bonus for all state pensioners plus a N10,000 one-time welfare payment added to their November 2026 pension. He has also paid N100 billion of the N111 billion gratuity backlog inherited since 2012 and urged pensioners aged 65 and above to enroll in the state's free health insurance scheme.
