What is the City Boy Movement?

The City Boy Movement (CBM) is a youth-driven political support group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It was set up in 2022, during his campaign for the 2023 presidential election, and says its aim is to mobilise, educate and empower young people and women in support of his Renewed Hope Agenda. Seyi Tinubu, the President's son, is its patron. The group describes itself as a grassroots platform built on voluntary membership and says it is not a government initiative.
